On July 1, 2015 40 math educators from across Oklahoma spent an entire day reviewing the July Draft of the new Oklahoma Academic Standards for Mathematics. A few of them were kind enough to tell about their experience. Special thanks to all of our special guests and to the amazing educators who gave up their vacation time to spend a long day pouring over our new standards! Here what they had to say in this special edition of the #OKMath Podcast!

  1. Shout out to these awesome educators putting in work this summer! Special shout out to my fellow Norman High teachers – you all are great! And as always, thanks, Levi, for your work.

  2. Thanks for including so many Oklahoma classroom teachers throughout this process. I hope even more teachers take the opportunity to way in at the Engage conference and through online surveys! #octm

  3. Thanks Shawn and Julie! I love how invested the teachers are! The Writing Team, the reviewers, everyone. For all the turmoil there was with Common Core, it is nice to have a process where we are all working together for a great future for #OKMath!
